Since opening the Chinese subsidiary in 1996, both companies have been supporting and working closely with our Chinese customers by providing the smartest, most complete solutions in the foundry industry. Our combined knowledge of technology and broad foundry solutions portfolio always adapt to the end user’s requirements. We have also strengthened our staff at Loramendi China by appointing Yu Lei (Jerry) as our company’s new Commercial Director, he has spent the past decade committed to the automotive industry and has extensive experience working abroad, such as in Europe and Japan.

This year, we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Loramendi in China, after contributing to the China foundry industry more than 35 years of project experience. Our local team has gathered to celebrate it at the 19th China International Foundry Expo (Metal China) in Shanghai.

Loramendi S. Coop. is part of the Mondragon Group since 2004 and holds an alliance with Aurrenak S. Coop. Currently 95% of Loramendi's production is exported. Specialized in the design and supply of global foundry solutions, it began the path to internationalisation process a long time ago. Loramendi S. Coop. & Aurrenak S. Coop. will attend Metal + Metallurgy China 2020. The exhibition will be held in Agust (18-20th) at National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai where both companies will present the most innovative solutions for the foundry industry.

Loramendi took part in the Basque Ecodesing Meeting 2020, a forum where new challenges and trends in ecodesign and circular economy were discussed during the 26th and 28th of February in the Euskalduna in Bilbao. #BEMBasqueCountry2020
